This policy details how Dazzytee manages all returns, exchanges, and refunds for these handcrafted logic items. All financial transactions are processed in USD. Where applicable, Dazzytee issues the prepaid return label or schedules carrier collection and covers all associated VAT/GST, duties, brokerage, and customs processing for the return shipment. This ensures you will not incur any charges when sending the item back if utilizing the return paperwork provided by Dazzytee (DDP on returns where available).

2. Return Eligibility for Handcrafted Items

Products must be returned in their original, unmodified, and unused state to protect the integrity of the specialized wooden components and logic mechanisms during the return journey.

  • Invalidation: Any signs of use or permanent alteration—such as scratches, dents, staining, distinct odors, or modification like drilling or fixed gluing—will invalidate returns based on customer preference (change of mind).
  • Packaging Requirement: Please ensure all original protective materials are included whenever possible (wrapping, foam inserts, hardware packs, manuals). If the original packaging is missing, you must repackage the item using materials that provide equal or greater protection.
  • Condition Exception: Items that have been permanently installed or significantly altered may only be returned if Dazzytee confirms a verifiable manufacturing defect or carrier damage.

If an item arrives with damage (such as a structural misalignment), exhibits a production fault, or fails to match the model/size/finish ordered, Dazzytee will ensure the issue is swiftly corrected. Common issues for handcrafted goods include misaligned joins or components that do not fit together correctly.

  • Resolution: Dazzytee provides prepaid return shipping and offers either a replacement or a full USD refund. Any original outbound shipping cost paid at checkout for that specific item is also fully refunded.
  • International Shipments: For international returns, Dazzytee covers all VAT/GST, duties, brokerage, and customs processing fees when Dazzytee’s prepaid label and return documents are utilized (DDP on returns).

4. Returns Due to Change of Mind (Fit, Appearance, or Finish)

Preference returns are accepted within the 30-day window provided the item is unused and correctly packaged. Dazzytee covers the return shipping cost; the customer is not required to pay any additional fees beyond the initial purchase. Once inspection confirms all parts are present and the item is in like-new condition, Dazzytee refunds the product price in USD.

  • Shipping Cost: The original outbound shipping cost, if paid at checkout, is not refunded for returns based on preference.

5. Items Not Eligible for Return

  • Gift cards, final-sale, or clearance items.
  • Custom or made-to-order products (e.g., special requests for wood species or engravings) unless verified as defective or damaged upon receipt.
  • Products that have been used, assembled (beyond simple test-fitting), permanently installed, modified, or refinished.

Packing Guidance for Small Items

  • Immobilize all puzzle components so they cannot shift, rattle, or cause abrasion during transit.

Exchanges

Requests for a different size or finish are accepted for 30 days subject to inventory availability.

  • Shipping Costs: For preference exchanges, Dazzytee covers shipping costs both ways. For issue-based exchanges (damage, defect, wrong item), all shipping is covered by Dazzytee.

Taxes, Duties, and Customs on Returns (International)
